F. summary of position: the chief representative officer (cro) leads and executes inta's regional strategy in latin america and the caribbean, ensuring alignment with the association's global priorities. the cro is responsible for strengthening inta's visibility, influence, and member engagement across the region by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government institutions, ip offices, local associations, and the private sector. the cro also contributes to inta's global strategic plan, supports membership development, and coordinates the delivery of educational programs. g. key responsibilities: external relations and advocacy - develop and implement the annual regional work plan in coordination with inta headquarters. - provide timely analysis and strategic recommendations on legislative and regulatory developments relevant to ip and brand owners in the region. - represent inta in meetings with government agencies, ip offices, and regional organizations; maintain strong relationships with policymakers and decision-makers. - collaborate with internal teams and committees to develop and execute advocacy strategies. - serve as inta's spokesperson in regional forums and conferences; deliver presentations and participate in panels. - liaise with local and regional organizations that share inta's goals, fostering collaboration and information sharing. - prepare reports and updates for inta's leadership and governance bodies. - serve as staff liaison in the committees and subcommittees where necessary. membership - collaborate ...
