Technical Pre-Sales Engineer This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and sales execution. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with the Data Centre Sales & Channel Manager to ensure revenue targets are met. You will be responsible for providing technical consultation on data centre services, including colocation, cloud computing, networking, security, and managed services. - Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose data centre solutions that align with their needs. - Provide technical expertise and consultation on data centre services, including colocation, cloud computing, networking, security, and managed services. - Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to prospective clients. - Assist in the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and technical documentation to support sales opportunities. - Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients and understanding their evolving infrastructure challenges. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions. - Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. - Support post-sales engagements by coordinating with implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to deployment. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or sales engineering role, preferably within the data centre or cloud services industry. - Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud computing solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). - Experience with colocation, connectivity solutions, and hybrid IT environments. - Excellent presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills. - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions. - Proficiency in creating solution architecture diagrams, proposals, and technical documentation. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus. - Proficiency in English is essential.
