Job Title: Sr. Strategy Development Manager At ScotiaTech, we are committed to investing in our employees and helping you continue your career. Job Summary: We seek a Sr. Strategy Development Manager to play a key role in managing Scotiabank's GTEP strategic plans, producing internal and external communications for the GTEP team, and executing employee engagement programs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic plans and goals. - Identify wins, key issues, and propose recommendations to ensure adherence to the strategic plans. - Create service roadmaps with Service Owners and partners. - Communicate and report on GTEP's strategic plan and priorities. - Present information suitable for executive audiences. - Maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners to support deliverables and overall objectives. Communication Expertise: - Amplify communication plans to keep team members informed about projects, milestones, learning & development initiatives, and employee engagement programs. - Develop communication materials, including presentations, emails, and Teams' posts to convey key messages. - Support SharePoint maintenance and modernization. - Ensure consistent and transparent communication for GTEP technology-driven projects. Employee Engagement Leader: - Support on-site and virtual event logistics. - Connect with global GTEP contacts to stay aligned with different initiatives, celebrations, and events. Education / Experience / Other Information: - Exceptional written/verbal/presentation skills. - Highly developed relationship management skills to manage relationships across the Bank, its partners, and external vendors. - Proven track record delivering innovative solutions from concept to change management. - Effective reporting and partner management experience. - Exceptional planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information/data and focus on critical business/country-specific issues. - Self-motivated; ability to work independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams. - Deliver results in fast-paced/challenging/dynamic business environments. - Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. - Trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior business leaders, key partners, and communications leaders across the Bank. - Discrete ability to recognize and handle sensitive/confidential information. - Leverage feedback from formal/informal channels to deliver strong/aligned communications/engagement. - Stay current/implement communications best practices. - Translate complex technology ideas/concepts/projects into simplified/key messages that resonate with various audiences. - Excellent written/oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to drive internal/external engagement across large employee bases/partners. - Knowledge/experience leveraging communication vehicles to effectively communicate/engage employees. - Ability to deliver results in fast-paced/challenging/dynamic business environments. - Flexible/willing to take on new challenges as they present themselves. - Ability to create enthusiasm/foster team environment. - Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT/Teams/etc.).
