Job Overview Guest Service Agent Role "> As a Guest Service Agent, you will provide exceptional reception services to Guests, ensuring an outstanding experience from check-in through check-out and adhering to audits as required. This role is crucial in shaping the first impression of our Guests. "> Responsibilities 1. Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner. 2. Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as needed. 3. Keep the Front Office Chief informed about any relevant feedback from Guests and other departments. 4. Maintain a high level of customer service at all times. 5. Attend appropriate training courses when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts. 6. Display a thorough knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and general product knowledge necessary for daily duties. 7. Promote hotel services and facilities by maximizing room occupancy and using up-selling techniques. 8. Follow correct procedures regarding foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash acceptance according to the hotel credit policy. 9. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation. 10. Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems. 11. Adhere to company brand standards. 12. Offer assistance to other departments as needed.
