**Role (overview of the position)** - Collaborate & clearly communicate with Property Managers, Maintenance team & upper management at all times. - Timely, efficient & detail oriented processing of accounting tasks. - Daily AP - input invoices, pay bills, cross reference utility bills history to look for spike in usage, avoid duplicate billing, - correctly GL code maintenance invoices. - Daily AR - review aging receivables, batch deposit: Housing Authority payments - Bank Reconciliations - West America Karimian Rental account & Umpqua Bank Trust account - Year End & Month End Close-Out - Commercial NNN CAM & Tax Reconciliations annually - 1099-M & 1099-NEC preparation - Delinquency reports - Generate list of residents that need to be sent 3-day notices & send list to appropriate Property Manager - 7% non-resident withholding tax to CA FTB - Unclaimed property reporting to State of CA - Property Tax Payments - Adjust Recurring Payables as needed **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s Degree in accounting - 3-5 years accounting experience - Proven knowledge and experience in a financial services environment - Outstanding analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills - Possess strong numerical and written skills **Employment Type** Full-time, 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday. Experience level: Intermediate (3 - 5 yrs) Languages: English, Spanish **Salary**: 8-10 USD per hour.
