Your Responsibilities: Our Specialty Medical Head will be responsible for providing expert scientific capability and leadership while managing a broad range of Medical Affairs activities associated with his or her assigned products and within the Specialty therapy area. This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are: Lead the Specialty Medical Area at the local level, collaborating closely with cross-functional and global teams to provide scientific, clinical, and technical expertise, offering guidance and leadership on GSK products. Own the external engagement strategy, driving and managing scientific and clinical exchanges with the medical and scientific community to enhance GSK’s external presence and reputation. Develop and execute a local Medical Strategic Plan for specialty products, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and market needs. Align with commercial strategic planning, ensuring seamless integration of medical objectives, while managing research budgets and leading the forecasting processes for assigned products and therapeutic areas. Provide expert scientific and clinical leadership, offering in-depth knowledge of GSK products and relevant diseases to internal teams and above-country Medical Networks. Foster and elevate scientific knowledge and expertise across the enterprise, ensuring a robust understanding of specialty science, therapeutic trends, and industry advancements. Drive excellence in external engagement, cultivating strong, trusted partnerships with external medical and scientific stakeholders, ensuring timely, transparent, and responsive interactions to support collaborative, evidence-based decision-making. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals: Medical Doctor, Healthcare Professional, or Equivalent qualification. Proven track record of managing Specialty organization teams. Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and English. Proven ability to apply scientific knowledge effectively and lead innovative research programs. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including Key External Experts (KEEs) and global stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Specialty, including drug discovery, development, launch, and commercialization. Demonstrated experience working as a strategic partner with commercial teams, ideally in a cross-functional capacity (considered an asset). Strong capability to collaborate with R&D teams to develop meaningful research protocols and support investigator-initiated studies.
