Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **Accountabilities** - Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Responsible for sizing the JIRA tickets and providing estimates on efforts - Code Review / Peer Review to ensure the quality of the code and development of junior developers - Manage the development life cycle and insure delivery dates - Continuously Research and Learn new technologies and development methodologies that help enhance our development procedures and quality of the products developed - Hands on development for needed features and functionalities. - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. - Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. **Education / Experience / Relevant Information** **Must have** - A bachelor's degree or a certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - At least 2 years of experience working with Python. - Experience working with Pandas. - Open to learning, curious and proactive. - **Advanced level of English (B2).**: - Nice to have: Experience working with Bash Scripts, Java, Nifi, Kafka, Google Cloud Storage, react, Angular. **Location(s)**: Bogotá or Home-Office _LI-Hybrid_ ScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
