We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Lead for NAM & LAT Markets to join our team. The Automation Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions within our unit for NAM & LAT Markets. This role requires a strong understanding of automation principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities Lead the execution of the unit's automation strategy in NAM & LAT Markets, in line with the overall company strategy. Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation within the unit, and prioritize projects based on business needs and potential ROI. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions, including hardware and software components in close collaboration with Product and Engineering (P&E). Oversee the testing, validation, and deployment of automation systems, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Products & Engineering (P&E), and all relevant stakeholders within Services & Care, to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions in NAM & LAT. Manage automation projects in NAM & LAT, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies, trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory and data privacy requirements. Drive tactical, operational automation tasks without direct line leadership. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies. 3GPP architecture reference models (4G, 5G), specifically around packet core, IMS and Policy Management. Proven experience leading and managing automation teams. Strong knowledge of automation principles, technologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with automation hardware and software platforms. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. English fluency is required.
