**TECHNICAL OPERATOR** **Position Purpose**:Execute operation and maintenance activities of natural gas compression units and auxiliary equipment, in accordance with customer's technical specifications, equipment manufacturers and internal Company policies. **Main Functions & Responsibilities**: 1. Perform the different operational activities with the equipment and facilities, in order to satisfy the customer's needs. 2. Schedule the execution of preventive maintenance and repairs of compressor units and other auxiliary equipment, actively participate in its execution. 3. Fill out the maintenance reports and forms corresponding to each compressor unit and other auxiliary equipment. Maintenance Control. 4. Elaborate and fill out safe work analysis (ATS) and work permits, for the activities that require it. 5. Responsible for the start up and shut down of the compressor units. 6. Propose modifications and strategies to seek improvements in the execution of the different actions that can be carried out in the facilities and equipment of the Station. 7. Report to the operations manager the works and actions carried out in the station, as well as keeping the field log updated. 8. Request the necessary materials and spare parts for the execution of the operation and maintenance of the equipment or compressor units. 9. Permanently monitor the equipment verifying its correct performance and report to the operations manager any abnormal situation or event in the process. 10. At the end of the workday, perform the respective shift handover, notifying colleagues of all events and tasks performed, as well as operational conditions. 11. Monitor, record and control inventory movements. 12. Execute preventive maintenance and repairs of compressor units. 13. Fill out daily time sheets taking into account the shifts performed per month. 14. Ensure the care and proper use of tools, equipment, machines and other assets of the company. **Education**: Technician, Technologist and/or Professional in Mechanical, Maintenance, Electronics, Electromechanical, Instrumentation and related areas. **Training**: Specific knowledge in operation and maintenance in compression systems, Waukesha engines and Ariel compressors, handling of specialized tools (hydraulic, pneumatic, metrology and calibration equipment), interpretation of operation and maintenance manuals of industrial equipment. **Experience**: Minimum 10 Years of experience in operations and maintenance of compression systems. **Disclaimer**: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by persons assigned to this position.
