Reporting to our BU Head for Rare Disease (with dotted line to BU Head for Specialty Care), in this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall sales strategy managing both teams: Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy in Colombia. You will work with cross-functional partners (i.e., Marketing, Key Accounts, Reimbursement, Patient Services, and Medical) to deploy solutions that drive appropriate demand, ensuring team alignment in overall execution of strategy. Key responsibilities: - ** Leading the sales team** - Create high performance culture with emphasis on accountability, drive for results, and collaboration, while continuously coach and develop advanced leadership and sales capabilities; - ** Strategic, Budget planning and execution** - Partner with cross-functional team to pull-through the enterprise approach for strategic accounts; - Implement a process for best practice sharing across divisional teams to maximize efforts - ** Territory Management** - Ensure the right segmentation and execution of the tactical plan of the team to reach sales targets proposed by the company; **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s Degree in Administration/Marketing /Communication/Science; - Proficiency in Spanish - intermediary English level is a plus; - +3 years of sales experience for specialty care (high cost therapies); - Strong experience working with products reimbursed in private market (Health Insurances) and products reimbursed by federal government/public sales; - Robust account management experience; - Experience in managing sales teams; - Experience on Market Access or Market Intelligence/Sales Force Effectiveness is a differentiation criteria; **Additional Information** - Flexibility to travel - up to 50% in Specific locations, including overnight if needed; - Mobility to live in Bogota is mandatory; **Why Biogen?** Our mission to find therapies for neurological and rare diseases is a unique focus within our industry and this shared purpose is what connects us as a team.
