Job Title: Modular Development Specialist The Senior Sales Engineer integrates sales and technical expertise, client relations, project management, architecture, development, and modular product specifications. This individual will be our customer-facing technical expert, educating clients on modular construction while guiding them through the sales and development process. Responsibilities - Determine if Fading West can best serve client goals - Create visions for attainable developments using standard product lines and communicate that vision to external developers - Work with leadership to ensure a full manufacturing pipeline - Clearly articulate product and service offerings - Develop and present client requests and requirements - Stay informed on industry news and trends - Vet appropriate clients and developments - Facilitate developers creating optimized site plans and unit mixes - Prepare and present marketing material - Collect client feedback and project data - Maintain urgency during initial client inquiry and contact stage - Provide tours of the factory - Attend conferences and presentations - Use LEAN principles to establish, track, and improve sales processes - Project management and client management - Assist the engineering team as needed Qualifications - Experience in modular technical sales - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or relevant experience - Extensive knowledge of real estate development, zoning, and IRC/IBC code requirements - Experience in client/sales management - Ability to work independently and drive new initiatives - Revit Experience preferred - Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic startup environment - Ability to travel up to 40% - Public speaking experience preferred
