What you'll be getting up to: We’re looking for someone with strong front-end skills familiar with modern component frameworks like React or Vue, with experience in back-end frameworks like Next.js (preferably) and Express. Success at Sportserve also depends on your problem-solving abilities. Most of your time will be spent: - Building new front-facing and back-office applications from scratch - Participating in new payment provider integrations - Architecting and developing new features - Prototyping and evaluating potential implementations - Meeting with business stakeholders to understand their needs - Programming, brainstorming challenging problems, and prototyping ideas You won't just be working through tickets; you'll help design new products, understand what we're building and why. Although we are a large company, we operate in small teams, so everyone wears many hats. Besides programming, your responsibilities may include: - Writing and improving product and tool documentation - Maintaining product ownership and troubleshooting production issues - Participating in OOH on-call support rotations Skills we think you need: - JavaScript - TypeScript - React - Node.js - Next.js - JS package managers (NPM, Yarn, pnpm) - Git (branching, pull requests, resolving conflicts) - Bash, Linux, SSH - HTTP and REST - SQL and RDBMS schema design and optimization Tools familiarity: - Babel - Eslint - Jest - Webpack - Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose - GitLab CI/CD - TailwindCSS - OpenAPI - RESTful API design - Markdown for documentation - Experience with Kibana and Grafana Minimum requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field - 5+ years of relevant work experience - Excellent command of English (written and spoken) - Attention to detail and commitment to quality - Collaborative team player We warmly invite applications in English.
