As an Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be a key point of contact for new employees, ensuring they’re fully prepared and supported before their first day on the job. From paperwork and compliance to proactive communication, you’ll make sure every new team member has a smooth and welcoming start. - Deliver exceptional support through phone and email to both internal team members and our workforce. - Skillfully handle a high volume of calls while keeping a cool head under pressure. - Assist new employees every step of the way through the onboarding paperwork process. - Meticulously complete and review I-9 forms, and submit E-Verify cases to ensure adherence to federal regulations. - Leverage Bullhorn ATS to monitor applicant progress, key onboarding milestones, and document completion. - Respond to general questions regarding new hire documentation, payroll, tax credit initiatives, and timecards. - Maintain proactive communication with new hires prior to their start date, confirming essential details like work schedules, reporting instructions, and contract terms. - Adhere to company policies and procedures to guarantee consistency and compliance. - Consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism and service in interactions with the workforce. - Collaborate effectively with colleagues and showcase adaptability in a dynamic work environment. - Work independently and take the initiative to manage onboarding-related responsibilities. - Support other departments by tracking and reporting KPIs and metrics. - Perform additional administrative or HR-related tasks as assigned. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or onboarding is a plus! - We value hands-on experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), especially if you're familiar with Bullhorn! - A good understanding of employment documentation, like I-9 forms and E-Verify processes, is important. - We're looking for strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking. - Maintaining a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics is essential. - You'll need to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively!
