The Global Services Team is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial activities across multiple entities. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Bucaramanga, Colombia. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance, organization, and efficiency within our AP processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who speaks fluent English and has experience with tools such as Excel, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Docs. Key Responsibilities: - Review financial statements and request missing invoices to maintain up-to-date records. - Input purchase orders into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner. - Create and onboard subcontractors in the accounting system, ensuring all required information is properly collected. - Enter and process transactions to support the reconciliation of company bank accounts. - Input, review, and submit invoices for internal approval and payment processing. - Generate and review monthly reports for purchase orders and subcontractor accounts to maintain up-to-date records. - Manage and follow up on credit applications to establish accounts with vendors. - Collect and organize all necessary documentation for subcontractor setup and compliance. - Input and verify petty cash transactions for entry into the accounting system. - Request necessary documentation to process invoice payments issued on behalf of the company. - Provide assistance and support in monthly bank reconciliation processes for both entities. - Support the Account Payable area in any additional requirements.
