Job Description The Karting Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of daily operations. They must guarantee that all part-time team members are properly trained and guided. This position directly reports to the Karting Manager. It is an on-site, full-time role. The Job Duties include: - Guaranteeing all training is completed and documented - Ensuring presentation throughout the business is adequate - Verifying merchandise is in stock, working with the Merchandise Team - Verifying drinks and snacks have been purchased - Guaranteeing incident reports are properly completed and filed - Overseeing the relationship between Maintenance and Pit/Store - Scheduling team for regular schedules - Working with the Karting Manager on department needs - Maintaining a healthy relationship with operational partners Required Skills and Qualifications - Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization - Hires outstanding candidates; has sound judgment in identifying strengths and weaknesses of others - Drives the team and the organization for results to improve performance - Ability to make timely or planned decisions appropriate to the circumstances - Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances - Ability to manage projects and workflow - Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct communication at all levels Work Environment - Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms - Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds - Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull - Ability to stand/walk for long periods - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision - Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events Equal Employment Opportunity COTA supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of protected characteristics.
