This team will also answer escalated questions where appropriate. Accountabilities Champions a customer-focused culture to leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledgeEnters/processes employee and/or job data changes in HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle eventsEnsures data accuracy and integrity of employee records through established internal control mechanismsResponds to inquiries pertaining to specific employee lifecycle events by producing documents using available data and populating templates (e.g. severance letters and agreements, employment letter, etc) and answering escalated issues from different stakeholdersRuns regular daily/weekly reports to assess performance against standard procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLA's)Seeks opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, and propose recommendations to Managers, Employee Lifecycle and Senior Managers, Employee LifecycleUnderstands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisionsActively pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct Reporting Relationships Primary Manager: Manager, Employee LifecycleDimensions Answers Tier 2 escalations from all areas of the Bank (global scope)Volume of transactions (TBD)Ensures business continuity for accountabilities under purview, ensuring coverage 5 days/week in assigned scheduleEducation / Experience / Other Information Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Business or Human Resources or pursing education in related fieldCHRP designation is considered an assetExperience in a call/contact Centre or in a customer focused area an assetKnowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processesKnowledge of HR transactionsDeep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexityStrong people leadership skills – experience managing and working with teamsAttentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with transaction processing and data managementExperience in conflict / issue resolution Location(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota Scotia GBS is a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia created to support different processes of the Bank and the development and execution of its global services strategy in 15 countries in the Americas.
