Job Title: Real Estate Sr. Project Manager –Development Focus Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Aboutthe Role: We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Real EstateProject Manager to lead and coordinate various aspects of ourdevelopment projects in the California area. This role requireshands-on experience in real estate development, the ability tomanage complex timelines and stakeholders, and a proactive mindsetfor driving progress across multiple active sites. You’ll workdirectly with executives and external partners to ensure projectsare well-planned, on-budget, and executed with excellence—from landacquisition through construction and closeout. KeyResponsibilities: - Project Oversight: Manage timelines,deliverables, and communication across all stages of real estatedevelopment projects. - Land Search Coordination: Assist inidentifying and evaluating new land acquisition opportunities,including site analysis and local zoning review. - Bid ReviewManagement: Review and compare multiple bids across multiple activeprojects. - Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key liaison betweeninternal teams and third-party professionals, including architects,contractors, consultants, and municipal authorities. - ContractorOversight: Review contractor bids, negotiate scopes of work, andcoordinate scheduling for active construction sites. - On-SiteSupervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolveissues, and ensure that work meets quality and regulatorystandards. - Document Management: Review and interpret complexdocuments (plans, permits, bids, title reports) and ensurecompliance across the board. - Reporting & Communication: Draftregular project updates, status reports, and proposals for internaland external stakeholders. - Budget Tracking: Maintain and updateproject budgets using advanced Excel, analyzing costs and flaggingpotential overruns or risks. Requirements - 4+ years of experiencein real estate development, construction management, or relatedproject management roles. - Strong knowledge of the California realestate market and permitting processes. - Proven ability to managemultiple projects and deadlines with precision and accountability.- Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to writeprofessional proposals and speak confidently with high-levelstakeholders. - Experience working with contractors, architects,and city planning departments. - Advanced Excel skills, includingthe ability to build detailed pro formats, perform underwriting,and manage project budgets and financial models for developmentanalysis and reporting. - Self-starter with a problem-solvingmindset and a “no task too small” attitude. Nice to Have: -Experience with high-end residential or luxury developmentprojects. - Familiarity with construction management software ordevelopment tracking tools. - Background in architecture, urbanplanning, or engineering.
