About the Role: We are looking for a proactive, professional, and customer-focused Property Manager with experience managing short-term rental properties (especially via Airbnb) and handling high-touch customer service operations. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for both guests and property owners, ensuring top-tier experiences while keeping operations running smoothly. You should be comfortable working under pressure, solving problems on the fly, and stepping up to handle client issues with confidence, friendliness, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of short-term rental properties (primarily on Airbnb). Communicate with guests and property owners, responding quickly and effectively to inquiries, concerns, and issues. Coordinate with vendors, maintenance teams, and cleaners to resolve property-related problems quickly. Ensure a smooth guest experience from booking to check-out, including issue resolution and review management. Monitor guest satisfaction and maintain a strong reputation across platforms (e.g., Airbnb reviews). Maintain accurate records of bookings, maintenance tasks, guest issues, and communication logs. Handle urgent issues or on-call responsibilities during evenings or weekends, as needed. Identify and implement opportunities to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency. Conduct property inspections (virtually or via local contacts) to ensure standards are maintained. Requirements 3+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or customer service, ideally within short-term rentals or Airbnb operations. Proven ability to manage multiple properties and clients with attention to detail and efficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills — friendly, professional, and solution-oriented. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts with tact and urgency. Experience working with tools like the Airbnb platform, property management software (e.g., Guesty, Hostaway), and communication platforms (e.g., Slack, email, phone). Comfortable speaking with clients and guests on the phone in real time. Must be available to work Pacific Time hours; flexibility for occasional extended or on-call hours is a plus. Tech-savvy, organized, and self-motivated — able to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
