_Acumen Latin America is looking for a Short Term Communications Intern, who is currently still in University for a full time, paid, one-year internship. Our team, based in Bogotá, is continually evaluating investment opportunities and designing new ways to unleash human potential through capacity building. **About the role** As a short-term communications intern, you will work closely with Acumen's team based in Colombia and in close relationship with our local Communications associate. Accountabilities include: - Supporting the development of the communications and content plan - Support the communications team producing content in Spanish - Data measurement for social media, - Developing communications pieces and supporting the design and execution of community events - Using storytelling as a tool to showcase our work in the region. **Skills and Qualifications** - Currently pursuing a University Degree in Communications. Preferably in 7th to 10th semester (depending upon what your university requires to validate an internship). - An ability to tell creative stories about our work - Experience in social media preferred (this means with university projects, and even your own social media) - Ability to plan and execute - Ability to come up with creative ideas and an ability to execute them - Problem solving skills and a result-oriented, open and entrepreneurial work attitude - Interested in leadership, community management, communications, social enterprise and social impact - Quick learner who can rapidly become familiar with the ins and outs of different platforms - Good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish - Medium to advanced level of English, both verbally and in writing - Self reflective and aligned with Acumen values - Permanent work authorization in Colombia **Deadline
