In this role, you will report directly into the DI Regional Head and our local CEO. Change the future with us. As a leader for this Business, you’ll ensure the successful development and implementation of the business strategy and drive the business objectives by securing existing business as well as identifying and building on growth markets. Operating a lean set-up with clear accountability and using common effective sales tactics such as cross-selling, key accounts, and verticals are also key to this role. Your team will consist of functions which include Sales, Customer Services, Proposals, Engineering, and others. The key elements of this role involve: Acting as a lead for DI for Colombia within this dynamic organization. Wearing this hat, you will report into the DI Regional Head and Lead Country CEO and act as a voice of the business in the market. Creating a culture of trust and empowerment by coaching, mentoring, and developing your team to enable them to take the business unit assigned to the next level! Setting and communicating clear targets that drive innovation and monitoring market performance against these. Leading sales performance of the business unit assigned portfolio through direct bidding and/or leveraging channel partners. Focusing on growing market share by analyzing market research and customer surveys to identify strategic business opportunities. Leading the business unit assigned and being fully accountable for new business development reporting into the Regional Head of DI. Key responsibilities will include: Using connections between the DI business units in regards to Go-to-Market and support functions. Representing Digital Industries Business in Colombia towards key customers and leading customer relations at Chief-Levels. Coordinating and balancing the setup with other Operating Companies or/and Business in the assigned countries. What you need to make real what matters. Being an inspiring leader with the ability to engender confidence internally and externally through your excellent communication and credibility, you will drive the success of the business through solution selling and revenue growth. Other elements within your toolkit will consist of: Expertise in business, sales, and strategy encompassing a leadership role within an industrial/digital business-to-business environment. A global attitude with strong intercultural sensitivity and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and partners around the world! Experience of leading and developing large teams within a dynamic organization. Excellent influencing skills with the ability to present and communicate confidently with C-Level partners. (English & Spanish) A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Electrical Engineering, IT, or Mechanical Engineering. A postgraduate study will be highly desirable.
