Job Title : Real Estate Sr. Project Manager – Development Focus Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role: We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Real Estate Project Manager to lead and coordinate various aspects of our development projects in the California area. This role requires hands-on experience in real estate development, the ability to manage complex timelines and stakeholders, and a proactive mindset for driving progress across multiple active sites. You’ll work directly with executives and external partners to ensure projects are well-planned, on-budget, and executed with excellence—from land acquisition through construction and closeout. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication across all stages of real estate development projects.

Land Search Coordination: Assist in identifying and evaluating new land acquisition opportunities, including site analysis and local zoning review.

Bid Review Management: Review and compare multiple bids across multiple active projects.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and third-party professionals, including architects, contractors, consultants, and municipal authorities.

Contractor Oversight: Review contractor bids, negotiate scopes of work, and coordinate scheduling for active construction sites.

On-Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that work meets quality and regulatory standards.

Document Management: Review and interpret complex documents (plans, permits, bids, title reports) and ensure compliance across the board.

Reporting & Communication: Draft regular project updates, status reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.

Budget Tracking: Maintain and update project budgets using advanced Excel, analyzing costs and flagging potential overruns or risks.
Requirements 4+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related project management roles.

Strong knowledge of the California real estate market and permitting processes.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and accountability.

Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to write professional proposals and speak confidently with high-level stakeholders.

Experience working with contractors, architects, and city planning departments.

Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build detailed pro formats, perform underwriting, and manage project budgets and financial models for development analysis and reporting.

Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a “no task too small” attitude.

Nice to Have: Experience with high-end residential or luxury development projects.

Familiarity with construction management software or development tracking tools.

Background in architecture, urban planning, or engineering.
