Overview We are seeking an accomplished Integration/Solutions Engineer with expertise in Salesforce and proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in integrating cloud-based applications and have hands-on experience with AWS, GIT, RESTful APIs, Salesforce applications, and database systems. As a key team member, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications that seamlessly interact with Salesforce and other platforms. You will collaborate closely with clients and partners to understand real-world business challenges and deliver scalable, technology-driven solutions. Responsibilities Must Have: - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and secure applications in Go that integrate with Salesforce. - Identify and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. - Collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales teams to share best practices and address customer queries. - Architect optimal solutions for customers in collaboration with sales teams. - Provide technical customer support and resolve integration issues. - Gather feedback and analyze data to identify opportunities for product improvement. - Implement plans to enhance product performance and reliability. - Monitor system performance and proactively detect potential issues. - Ensure product stability by researching and implementing innovative solutions. - Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Salesforce integration. - Implement bi-directional data flow between applications and Salesforce using REST and SOAP APIs. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Salesforce integration, Go programming, AWS, and related technologies. - Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between internal and external services. - Utilize GIT for version control, ensuring best practices in branching, merging, and collaboration. - Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following industry standards. Nice to Have: - Leverage AWS services to design scalable and fault-tolerant solutions integrated with Salesforce. - Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimize data storage for applications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality. - Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to streamline application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. - Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. - 5+ hours of overlap with PST business hours (Mandatory). - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). - Salesforce certifications are a plus. - Proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or Java, with the ability to deliver production-ready software. - Willingness to learn Go programming for our tech stack. - Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs (REST and SOAP). - Proficiency in AWS services. - Strong understanding of GIT version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests. - Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with best practices. - Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). - Strong problem-solving skills, especially in integration challenges for distributed systems. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills, particularly for cross-functional collaboration. - Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, customization, and best practices is a strong advantage. - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with prior experience working in an Agile environment. - Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
