Key Responsibilities Supervise product delivery in the assigned galley section, ensuring consistency and quality. Control mise-en-place during preparation and conduct tastings to ensure recipe accuracy and presentation. Manage production schedules and galley staffing, coordinating with team members and department heads. Contribute to food and beverage improvement initiatives as directed by senior management. Supervise galley staff during operations, ensuring compliance with standards. Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure station briefings are held by Chefs De Partie. Observe staff performance, providing feedback and corrective actions as needed. Adjust production levels based on guest demand and report discrepancies to the Executive Chef. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Formal qualification in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution. At least six years of experience in high-volume food service, including cruise ship experience, with a minimum of two years as Sous Chef or higher. Ability to adapt production methods for cost efficiency. Experience training and managing multicultural teams. Proficiency in MS Office and related software. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Strong guest service orientation and interpersonal skills. Motivated, personable, and able to build professional relationships in a diverse environment.
