**Role Purpose**: The HR Manager, Latin America (LATAM) role is instrumental in enabling and empowering Jumio’s IDEALs through proactive and progressive leadership and people management. This role will work closely with leadership across LATAM and the global HR team to continually improve Jumio’s employee practices, culture and execution of internal processes that support business and personal growth, engagement and wellbeing. **Role Value**: In this role you'll be directing and developing a cross functional team in Costa Rica & Colombia enabling the strategic management planning of the HR teams; generating an optimal culture through exceptional leadership that aligns with the organization's vision and mission; having as a priority regulations established by law, procedures and policies in order to guarantee the correct operation of the department. **Example Responsibilities**: - Design and implement the LATAM Employee Relations Program & Strategy: - Identify and anticipate opportunities to improve internal processes through diagnostic measures & supporting peer Human Resource (HR) leaders to implement large-scale programs and drive consistency in program delivery; leading the collaboration and partnership within the HR community. - Lead the HR team to identify and implement training needs & development plans for the different levels of the organization. - Lead, develop and foster excellence in LATAM Employee Relations. - Prepare and manage the budget of the Human Resources for LATAM. - Provide advice on Employee Relations LATAM processes and case resolutions. - Review and provide recommendations to local Employee Relations teams regarding global policies and / or processes to ensure compliance with the global HR philosophy. - Ensure and support compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. - Direct the analysis on employee relations issues; lead solutions to facilitate an open, inclusive, Jumio values-based environment that enables effective employee relations for the LATAM region. - Manage compensation and benefits based on the principles of equity and competitiveness that allow the organization to align its remuneration system to organizational objectives and motivations: - Review and approve LATAM region proposed terms and work in partnership with finance, to ensure that the collective employment terms align with human resources objectives. - Work with finance, compensation and benefits, pensions, business units, and employee relations to develop LATAM labor relations mandates and grievance matter positions that meet the needs of internal stakeholders. - Direct all processes related to Staff Administration, attraction, and retention of talent & employee wellbeing. - Partner with the global recruitment team to create and develop strategies to improve the attraction, recruitment, selection & hiring processes. - Support all human resources activities by assisting with drafting human resources materials inclusive of union and employee communications, as well as documents submitted to governmental regulators. - Lead the LATAM HR teams to plan, design and execute workforce restructuring initiatives inclusive of organizational redesign, redeployments, employee retraining programs, layoffs and optional employee exit strategies. - In collaboration with the HR-VP and functional stakeholders, serve as the final internal stakeholder to review comprehensive workforce plans. - Facilitate availability of information resources on LATAM HR practices to increase consistency within local HR teams. - Lead and promote a strategy to foster Jumio’s IDEAL values. - Enable a high-performance environment and implement a regional people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team. **Relevant Experience and Qualifications include**: - Proven HR leadership track record, demonstrating the ability to identify, hire and develop HR team(s) of at least 5 people. - Strong knowledge of HR and Employment law - likely to include professional accreditations and/or relevant further education qualifications. - Comfortable supporting diverse employee populations of more than 400 people across multiple (at least 2) locations within LATAM. - Able to develop and deliver a people strategy that supports growth, operational excellence and a high performance culture. - Familiar navigating and communicating across complex organisations including corporate and BPO/BO employee populations. - Strong project and change management skills. - Likely to have more than 10+ years experience with HR with 5+ years Employee Relations experience. - Well developed analytical skills - able to use data to identify actionable insights. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English/Spanish). - Good problem-solving skills, strong creative mind, and result oriented. - Strong knowledge and experience of positive employee and labor/legal relations practices and principles. - Enjoy working in a multicu
