Business Development Representative This role involves being a key point of contact for potential clients to establish our company as a vendor. You will work with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities for collaboration and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and possess a proactive approach to meeting sales targets. - Contact potential clients via phone calls and emails - Presentation and relationship-building skills are essential - Maintain existing client relationships through regular check-ins and updates on company offers - Built trust and rapport with clients through professionalism and reliability We require the ability to work in our Medellin-based office and a willingness to research and develop solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will possess: - Native English or bilingual equivalent required - Ability to work effectively with North American and European customers - Research and problem-solving skills - Creativity and a positive attitude - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Nice to have skills include: - Previous experience in the shipping industry - Familiarity with CRM software - Experience with MS Excel
