Job Description - Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities: Maximize sales by identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and capturing opportunities with key clients. - Presentation and Consultation: Deliver presentations to new clients to improve our market position and achieve financial growth. - Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of services to the market and meeting customer needs. - Industry Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current and future regulations, legislation, and trends in the pipeline industry. - Network and Referrals: Utilize long-standing customer relationships to effect referrals, network within key international O&G; clients, and provide marketing intelligence on trends, developments, and competitor activity. - Trend Analysis and New Services: Present business trends to top management for developing new services, products, or other initiatives. - Sales Planning: Propose and agree upon detailed territory sales plans. - Commercial Contract Pricing: Advise on commercial contract pricing. - Contract Transfer: Assist technical sales engineers in obtaining necessary information from clients and ensuring smooth contract transfer to operations. - Report Updates: Ensure timely updates of necessary reports in the corporate EMS system, create enquiries, follow the sales flow chart while bidding for jobs, transfer projects after PIPECARE confirms orders, update forecasts by the end of each month, and update project statuses regularly. - Quality Assurance: Ensure business development is done in accordance with PIPECARE's QA/QC procedures. - Project Closures: Support territory in project closures when necessary. - New Product Initiatives: Actively engage in new product initiatives. - Colleague Support: Support colleagues within other territories if needed, contributing to group activity and occasionally covering for them during periods of absence. - Customer Education: Educate customers on the benefits of pipeline integrity. - Representation: Represent PIPECARE in conferences and exhibitions, supporting territory marketing initiatives. - Additional Tasks: Execute all other tasks as requested by the Sales & Marketing Manager and Executive Team. Requirements - Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience/exposure with sound commercial skills. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a progressive and successful career, culminating in a senior sales or business development role. - Industry Expertise: Experience within the oil and gas sector. - Networking: Existing executive-level contacts at one or more target operators. - Skillset: Good presentation skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and analytical skills. - Mobility: Ability to travel extensively.
