About this role We are seeking an experienced Steward Manager to join our team. This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring the proper use and maintenance of machines and equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Engineering or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience leading teams in kitchen cleaning and stewarding. The ability to analyze expenses, plan inventory, and supervise staff will be essential skills for success in this role. Key Responsibilities - Establish and verify work roles according to staff capabilities and skills. - Maintain the order and cleanliness of areas designated for storing chemicals. - Open and close service shifts, verifying team attendance, punctuality, and completion of tasks. - Ensure the cleanliness of all areas, refrigerators, and freezers. - Fulfill hygiene and cleaning programs in production kitchens and service areas. - Maintain kitchens, storerooms, hallways, and areas in optimal cleanliness, order, and safety conditions. - Analyze and control expenses per service center. - Plan annual purchases of food and beverage operation equipment. Requirements - Degree in Food Engineering or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience leading teams in kitchen cleaning and stewarding.
