**Transform the way the world runs networks** **The Opportunity** As a member of our technical support team you’ll provide post-sales support to customers and Sales Engineers located throughout the globe. Sandvine provides a 24x7x365 service in order to cover the high availability requirements of our products. You’ll use your excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills to resolve technical issues for customers, and to communicate the features and benefits of Sandvine solutions. **The Job** - Provide post-sales support to customers and Sales Engineers located throughout the globe - Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues for customers - Communicate the features and benefits of Sandvine solutions - Manage customer issues, defect entry, tracking, and escalation - Provide backup support for remote Sales Engineers, including preparing technical customer presentations - Work with Service Providers’ to evangelize, architect, implement, and support Sandvine solutions in their networks - At early levels complete product certifications and identify product specialization to senior levels having in-depth customer deployment knowledge and delivering technical enablement sessions. **What skills you bring** - Degree or diploma from a technical institute - Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a technical role at level 2 role; 5-8 yrs experience at more senior levels. - Hands-on Unix experience (BSD/Linux/Solaris); at senior levels have expert knowledge of customer specific supported systems. - Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and/or operation of network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper or other network hardware manufacturers a valuable asset - Excellent troubleshooting, investigative, and communications skills - Effective knowledge of product software and hardware and can trouble shoot less common features across multiple systems; at the senior levels having an expert level of knowledge in these areas and knowledge of future versions. - Networking skills - At early levels: have an understanding to advanced understanding and experience of networks, firewalls, protocols. Knowledge in tracing and troubleshooting high-level protocols and traffics. - Networking skills - At senior levels - having expert knowledge in these areas including networks, firewalls, protocols, proxying, routing as well as tracing and troubleshooting low-level protocols and traffic. - Virtualization: at early level understanding and experience of virtualization and cloud concepts, properties and technology. - At senior levels, extensive to expert knowledge of these areas as well as detailed skills in major industry standard technology specifics (ie SaaS/PaaS); enterprise infrastructure understanding, detailed skills to tune, manage and provide advice and best practices. **About Sandvine** As part of this innovative and exciting company, you will drive innovation in app-driven cloud and hybrid solutions designed to accelerate time-to-value across network planning, engineering and operations.
