Technical Support Engineer Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality technical support services to our customers. - Prioritize, schedule, and administer software updates, upgrades, and major releases in accordance with established release policies and contractual terms. - Record, track, and document problem-solving processes, including successful and unsuccessful decisions, and actions taken, through to final resolution. - Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends to prevent repeated future problems. - Develop and document change requests capturing customer requirements. - Perform hands-on fixes on applications, including installing and upgrading software, database exports, and configuring systems and applications. - Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved using standard testing methodologies. - Identify and learn relevant software applications used and supported by the organization. - Attend customer workshops/reviews to provide technical application advice and best practice guidance when required. Key Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - At least 2 years of experience in technical support facing customers and resolving issues. - A fast learner with ability to educate themselves on relevant technologies. - 2 years of experience with application development using Object-Oriented programming, Java, Windows Forms, SQL. - Intimate knowledge of connected applications. - Excellent technical and analytical skills. - Technical development/debugging and diagnosis skills (e.g., coding, scripting). - Integration experience with desktop enterprise software applications. - Excellent organizational skills, ability to set own task lists and timelines. - Ability to work in a team. - Demonstrated interest and ability to communicate across technology and business boundaries. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
