We are seeking a Sourcing Quality Lead , based in Lima, Peru, or Santiago, Chile , within our Supply Chain Business. This role involves building and managing supplier relationships, verifying technical and quality standards according to Bradken's requirements. The Sourcing Quality Lead and their team will handle supplier capability assessments, quality audits, and incoming goods inspections. You will qualify new suppliers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and establish an audit schedule to monitor supplier performance through relevant metrics. Key Technical Criteria - Relevant tertiary education in sourcing, procurement, engineering, or extensive experience in heavy industrial or foundry environments. - 5-10 years of post-graduate related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors. - Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors in a heavy manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of foundry or heavy industrial manufacturing processes. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking for quality issues. - Ability to interpret engineering documents, drawings, specifications, and CAD models. - Financial acumen including managing budgets and understanding financial reports. - Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. - Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
