Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive regional ocean freight strategy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in analyzing market strategies to drive sales growth and expand market share within the Andean Cluster. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain active communication with regional teams to ensure timely rate negotiations, responses to rate requests, and rate availability on designated platforms. You will also conduct detailed analysis of cargo statistics to support decision-making and justification to Trade Managers and Regional Managers. In addition, you will evaluate local and international maritime markets, identifying trends, opportunities, and volume shifts to inform strategic planning. Furthermore, you will negotiate spot ocean freight export rates and local charges in line with regional team guidelines and supplier agreements. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in International Business or a related field is required. - Commercial experience in freight forwarding and logistics services is essential. - Intermediate proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business context, is mandatory.
