General Summary- This role is responsible for providing service and support to ITK team in construction, pre-commissioning,- commissioning, startup and performance test, overseeing the installation of equipment, systems or units at site- and in an early stage during engineering. Ensure all is working according to specifications and meet the client’s- needs and expectations. It may also offer advice on improve upon operational issues and procedures. They will- also investigate, diagnose and repair faults as well as creating and conducting test procedures.Principle Duties & Responsibilities- Producing the commissioning program / plan / schedule- Define commission team requirements (manpower and other resources) to perform the different tests required and all material, facilities, tools are on site- Participate in the key design reviews such as P&ID;, Equipment Layout, and HAZOP to ensure that the pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements are incorporated into the design of the facilities- Coordinate with other stakeholders on the project regarding commissioning- Lead subcontractors in testing and troubleshooting- Ensure a safe working environment at site- Enforce the NEC, OSHA, UL, IEEE, API, ISA, IEC and other industry standards- Provide service leadership, guidance, and support at site to operation- Review and complete all required documentation scope within required timeline- Provide leadership and mentoring to service department team- Supporting engineering and technical projects by analyzing designs- Review as-buit drawing on site- Ensure construction company deliver redline of drawing on site- Train operators about the process- Develop project specific commissioning plans- Support Business Development, Project Development, and Construction Management as needed to deliver on customer expectations- Ensure all the functional and operations test are planned and executed properly- Provide expertise and oversight construction scope, ensure all the specification and engineering retirement are followed- Lead construction team at the end of the stage, defining a construction strategy by systems as per commissioning prioritiesJob Specifications- Demonstrated Management skills (i.e. ability to lead, direct, motivate and supervise team members)organizational or marketing skills.- 15 years natural gas plant industry experience- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or similar- 10 years of experience as a pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up engineer- Effective interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.- Knowledge in elaboration of procedures of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, performance test- Knowledge in elaboration of procedure of operation for Gas plant- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently- Relevant technical expertise (for example in test, design, development and operations)- Proficient computer skills (MS office preferred)- Must be able to travel within the region- Knowledge of Engineering as PFD, PID, Balance Heat and Material- The ability to work well under pressure Working ConditionsFast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
