Job Description As a senior leader in external engagement and communication, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, donors, and partners. - Develop a comprehensive communication strategy that supports the organization's functional and national objectives. - Provide strategic leadership to ensure delivery of expected results on key functional areas, including executive communications, grant/local donation and in-country partnership and resource acquisition, brand & content development, mass & digital media engagement, and reputation risk & emergency communications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the development and implementation of an integrated communication and external engagement strategy. 2. Collaborate with senior leaders and other departments to ensure alignment and effective cross-function coordination. Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: - A Master's degree in media studies, journalism, mass communication, English, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in communications leadership, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies. - Excellent skills and knowledge in creative storytelling, corporate communications, marketing, and brand management. - Experience working with a humanitarian organization or involved in humanitarian work is an advantage.
