And we’re looking for dynamic people to join our team. **The Role**: The Senior Payroll Administrator position is responsible for accurately processing full cycle weekly and bi-weekly payroll for our 2500 team members. This position will work collaboratively with the payroll team and people managers to ensure our hourly and salary team members get paid accurately and timely each week. This position will also manage and execute processing of garnishments, tax reports, reconciliations and payroll audits with a high degree of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism. This role reports to the Payroll Manager. **Key Accountabilities**: - Prepare and process full cycle weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll for part or all 2500 Team Members across USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. - Process payroll data through the Workday HCMS and settlements and tax through ADP SmartCompliance. - Review and verify the accuracy of time information and employee data changes in the Workday. - Confirm retro calculations that are processed via Workday for accuracy. - Ensure payroll processing accuracy through audit reports, data analysis and collaboration with other payroll team members and people managers. - Prepare on-demand checks for terminations, retro-adjustments and other disbursements determined to be necessary for immediate distribution timely and accurately - Reconcile employee deductions, including union dues deductions - Coordinate and administer Wage Garnishment orders in accordance with federal and state regulations - Prepare and print payroll reports of earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, leave, 401k, etc., as needed - Cross train to back-up other payroll team members for weekly/bi-weekly payrolls, as needed. - Interact with employees across all levels of the organization. Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide payroll information in a friendly, courteous and accurate manner - Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications - Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax and wage & hour laws, regulations or guidelines - Stay current with system updates and changes as well as changes with wage and tax laws - Assist with ongoing set up, testing and maintenance of the payroll system within Workday. - Balance current payroll tax and taxable to the year-to-date W2 box totals and resolve variances to minimize year end corrections - Assist Payroll Manager with the preparation of State and Federal quarterly and annual tax returns, W-2s - Assist Payroll Manager with preparing for annual year end processes related to, payroll and tax processing, reconciliation, and reporting. - All other duties as assigned **Skills & Experience**: - High school diploma/GED required - Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred - Minimum 3 years administering payroll in a high volume, multi -state, multi-company, union environment - CPP certification highly preferred - Workday payroll experience highly preferred - Strong proficiency in MS Office - Teams, Word, Outlook. Advanced Excel skills - including pivot table, v-look up, and some linking skills - Must have high integrity and handle HR & payroll information with high degree of confidentiality - Solid understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements as well as payroll best practices and HR policies - Keen attention to detail, process execution and follow-through with excellent organization skills - Ability to work under pressure.
