Project Director Role The Project Director oversees project execution, including planning, coordinating team members, and managing resources to deliver projects within deadlines. This role involves day-to-day management of project activities, defining objectives, and ensuring quality control throughout the life cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Lead project teams to achieve positive outcomes and promote accountability. - Develop and manage project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Create a comprehensive project plan and monitor progress. - Develop and implement risk management strategies. - Evaluate and escalate risks and issues promptly. - Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and policies among project team members. - Maintain open communication between project stakeholders and report on project progress. Required Qualifications: - Experience delivering large-scale healthcare ERP solutions as a customer-facing Project Manager. - Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. - Direct healthcare knowledge or 3+ years of experience with Health IT systems is beneficial. - Leadership experience with diverse, multi-disciplined teams. - Effective communication across all organizational levels. Desirable Qualifications: - Understanding of hospital/business procedures, standard working practices, structure, and politics. - Previous experience as an end user of an integrated health system. - Clinical/business experience or background, preferably as a TrakCare or Hospital Information System (HIS) application user. - Broad understanding of IT technical implementation-delivery. Education and Training: - University degree or 5+ years of experience managing complex projects in healthcare IT. - Technical knowledge of software and implementation processes. - Project Management certification, such as Prince2, PMP, or PMI. - Senior-level management training.
