Job Overview: As a senior financial analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the strategic objectives of our organization. The Financial Planning & Analysis function is responsible for managing all aspects of management reporting, encompassing budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and customer analysis. This position involves managing and executing corporate reporting and planning requirements for Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF). You will be an integral part of the central FP&A; team for CNPF and will have the opportunity to assist other finance business partners. The key responsibilities of this role include: • Analyzing variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, and key business drivers to support the financial close process. • Developing and maintaining standardized financial reporting packages that drive and support the business, inclusive of business metrics and KPIs. • Supporting the development of presentations and analysis for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and quarterly operating reviews (QORs), as well as ad-hoc business presentations to senior leadership. • Providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders while developing robust tracking mechanisms to support Mastercard's strategic plans. • Executing on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling; reviewing and creating suggestions to financial systems. • Investigating and creating opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery anticipating needs of internal customers, members, and other stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications: • Be fluent in English (verbal and written). • Hold a Chartered Accountant/CPA/CFA/ACCA or MBA Finance degree. • Have experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and management. • Possess good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g. Hyperion and Oracle). • Demonstrate a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Be self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environment. • Show the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy. • Display excellent communication and presentation skills. • Possess a high intellect with good commercial acumen and a creative approach to problem solving.
