Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine to drive thetransformation to ONE adidas. We are looking for a highly motivated and experiencedTreasury Manager to lead and strengthen our treasury operations.This role is critical to ensure optimal cash management, compliancewith foreign and local payment regulations throughout Americas, andefficient execution of payment and banking processes. The idealcandidate will bring deep expertise in Source-to-Pay operations inAmericas, a strategic mindset, and a strong ability to lead teamsand collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, multiculturalenvironment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the payments operationsteam, ensuring timely and accurate execution of payments, cashmonitoring with local teams and Head Quarters, providing visibilityof any potential risk of liquidity. - Ensure compliance with localand international financial regulations, particularly in foreignpayment controls and cross-border transactions. - Monitor cash flowimpacts, identifying funding needs and optimizing working capital.- Oversee the clearing of interim accounts and ensure alignmentwith established KPIs and internal controls. - Collaborate closelywith Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounting, and Controllingteams to ensure alignment and end-to-end efficiency in theSource-to-Pay process. - Drive process improvements, automation,and control enhancements within treasury and payment operations. -Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditsrelated to payment activities. - Support strategic initiativesrelated to treasury transformation, ERP enhancements, or regionalexpansion. - Provide senior management with regular insights andreporting on treasury metrics, risks, and opportunities. - Buildand maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to achievesuccess and create value for the region, directly impactingpositively KPI’s for the market. - Manage banking relationshipswith local and regional banks, overseeing BAM bank accountmanagement. - Identify and anticipate risks that could impact themarket operations & performance and strongly support issueresolution and prioritization. - Lead/ participate in BusinessPerformance Reviews and ensure agreed actions plan are implementedin line with the needs of the market and in accordance with S2Pprocesses and policies. - Develop, mentor, and coach thepayments/treasury team to build capabilities and foster ahigh-performance culture. - Develop and implement strategies toimprove team performance and productivity. - Ensure team membersare trained and equipped with the necessary tools and resources toperform their jobs effectively. - Manage the hiring, onboarding,and training of new team members. - Foster a positive and inclusivework environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, andinnovation. Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities : - Deep understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P)processes, including Order Management, Accounts Payable, Payments(automatic proposals, foreign and manual), Vendor Communication,and Sourcing & Procurement Compliance. - Strong stakeholdermanagement capabilities with proven ability to influence acrossfunctions and seniority levels. - Highly analytical with solidnumerical reasoning and problem-solving skills. - Energetic,proactive, and resilient leader, capable of working at pace anddriving continuous improvement and change. - Strong interpersonaland communication skills; able to navigate complex organizationalstructures and interact effectively with diverse teams, cultures,and management styles. - Demonstrated leadership and teammanagement skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and developtalent. - Curious mindset with a passion for learning and exploringareas beyond the immediate scope of responsibility. - Ability tomanage pressure effectively, prioritize competing demands, anddeliver results in dynamic environments. Requisite Education andExperience / Minimum Qualifications: - Solid knowledge of local andforeign payment regulations, within Americas. - Hands-on experiencewith banking platforms and bank account administration. -Familiarity with interim account clearing and cash flow management.- Strong foundation in finance, accounting principles, and treasuryoperations. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in AccountsPayable, Treasury, and/or Procurement functions. - Provenexperience leading and managing medium-sized teams in a sharedservices or multinational environment. - Advanced proficiency inEnglish, both written and verbal; Portuguese is a plus.
