Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: adidasGBS delivers high quality services for Finance and Accounting. InBogotá we are opening a new GBS center with the aim of serving theregion countries in several processes. Credit and Collections areresponsible for performing daily activities such as Dunning andCollection, Dispute management and Credit Management. The teamdelivers all activities in a timely manner and with the requiredquality. The team supports projects, including processstandardisation, tools implementation and other ad hoc projects. Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities: - Establish aclose and trustful relationship with the Customer, proactivelyanticipating issues - Ensure timely collection of receivables byworking closely with the customer and other finance teams andresolving the causes of non-payment - Drive timely collection byfollowing up on overdue invoices with customers, collectionagencies and end consumers - Manage customer relationship, whichincludes problem resolution and root cause analysis, identifyingand proposing solutions to area manager - Assess & review thecredit risk on the customer on a regular basis, calculate andsuggest the required credit limits - Decide on the release of theblocked orders and ensure timely release - Provide insight into thedevelopment of the accounts receivable position of the customer tosales and finance teams - Act as the first point of contact for theprocess-related issues and escalations - Manage the relationshipwith customer service and other stakeholders in the business -Identify the improvement opportunities and support theirimplementation - Lead the process and improvement focused projectsfor Credit and Collections - Support ongoing projects for theimplementation of technology solutions - Ensure the lowest possiblewrite off for uncollectable balances - Provide insight into thecalculation of the required provision for uncollectable balances -Support requests from partner Finance departments - Establish andmaintain strong financial controls over the work performed - Actingas the backup for the Team Leader, supporting on day-to-day teamorganization and task allocation - Support Team Leader in reportingarea KPIs and following up on improvements implementationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Strong Finance Acumen -Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar is a plus -Ability to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish in abusiness setting - Ability to pay close attention to detail andhigh degree of customer orientation - Strong problem solving andanalytical skills - Highly results driven and self-motivated teamplayer - Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approachsubjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious -Availability to travel for periods of 3 to 4 weeks RequisiteEducation and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5 yearsrelevant work experience in the accounting/business area - Broadand deep theoretical understanding of job function - Solidexperience with SAP AT ADIDAS WE HAVE A WINNING CULTURE.
