VIDEO EDITOR – CONTRACTOR/COLOMBIA

At opascope , we are looking for a creative and proactive video editor with excellent collaboration skills who enjoys problem-solving and hands-on experience working remotely from colombia as an independent contractor. in this role, you will help us deliver compelling and impactful video content by building and producing a brand-new video podcast that will go on youtube. what your day looks like: clip selection, editing, and assembling raw footage into engaging video content. manage the video composition to arrange visual information to convey interest. develop video concepts and narratives that resonate with target audiences and have a natural feel. perform color correction, sound editing, and sound design. file preparation and management to customize video content for optimal performance on digital platforms. ensure all video content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging. manage multiple video projects, adhering to deadlines and production schedules you are a good match if you have: 2+ years of filmmaking or video editing experience as a full-time base employee or 4+ years as a freelancer. proficiency in video editing software. proven experience with final cut pro, davinci resolve, or premiere pro (the last one highly desired). strong understanding of digital media platforms, especially youtube. creative storytelling and visual communication skills. advanced english level (written and verbal). excellent project and time management skills. creative problem-solving. a bachelor’s degree in film, media, or communications is preferable, yet it is not required. reli...
