This sz2 grade forms part of a dedicated team, the primary duties of the grade are the issuing and receipting of equipment and materials from the storage areas, vetting and processing requests, conducting stock checks and following material accounting procedures & processes. the successful applicant will attend training courses, predominantly away from raf honington to become fully proficient as a supplier, including core supply civilian training, mjdi (management of the joint deployed inventory) and other more specialist training to expand on their role. specific duties include but are not limited to: scrutinising requests for material and effecting all counter issues. updating the computer system and manual records for stocks held. packing and unpacking of consignments, including re-stocking and stock checks ensuring that all assets are stored, accounted for, and issued accurately in accordance with current policy. placing and progression of demands, supply of products or services with project teams, supply chain organisations or higher command authorities. maintaining the security and integrity of the work area and general storage housekeeping and husbandry tasks, including maintaining the quality of items. ensuring personal admin including required training is kept up to date. successful candidates will be included in duties on a roster basis. please note, candidates will be redirected to the civil service jobs website where you will need to submit your application form. please note the closing date above is incorrect and cannot be amended so please check ...
