EXCEL AND BI SPECIALIST BARRANQUILLA

Operations manager | project management expert we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a dvanced excel skills and knowledge in business intelligence tools (preferably power bi) , to support our accounting team in data processing, organization, and financial reporting. this role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency and supporting the accounting function with accurate, well-structured insights. support the accountant in consolidating, analyzing, and visualizing financial information. design and maintain dynamic reports using excel and/or bi platforms. automate recurring tasks using macros, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and/or scripts. ensure data accuracy and consistency across all financial reports. read, write, and communicate in english professionally. collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and relevant insights. perform reconciliations, data validations, and assist in monthly close processes. location: must reside in barranquilla, colombia. work modality: 100% on-site. language: fluent english (spoken and written) – mandatory. technical skills: advanced excel (pivot tables, nested formulas, macros, dashboards, etc.). experience with bi tools (power bi, tableau, or similar) – preferred, not mandatory. additional knowledge: understanding of basic financial and accounting terminology – preferred. proactive and results-driven. strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality. excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking. team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision. strong communi...
