Reference epr008276 posting reference ind1 location la loma, colombia type full time job category operations we are recruiting an o&m; technician for drummond, a 140 mw (gross) ge lms 6000 and lm 2500 power plant, located in la loma, el cesar colombia. this position will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the power facility while assigned on shift or while assigned to the maintenance team. these responsibilities include, to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment. this equipment includes, but is not limited to the gas turbine, steam turbine, generators, heat recovery steam generator, air compressors, water treatment equipment, demineralizers, motors, pumps, fire suppression systems, brine concentrators, and all other balance of plant auxiliary equipment. qualified applicants must have two to four years related experience and/or training within a power generation facility. other requirements for the role include colombian residency, ability to work 12 days on/13 days off and valid driver's license. while on duty, this position receives company paid travel, lodging, food, and laundry. **responsibilities**: - perform piping and conduit installation in the plant for system upgrades and modifications. - operate demineralizers, compressors, and turbine components. - perform inspection of watch on each system within the plant. - maintains equipment by tightening fittings, replacing valve packing, gaskets, valves, and gauges. - cleaning, replacing, oiling and lubricating o...
