Job overview a propulsion system representative will be based in toluca, coordinating resources on bev and ice programs. this role supports the prs sub-system technical manager on onsite coordination of all prs representatives. main responsibilities include reporting to prs and vehicle project organization, ensuring assembly operations follow adapted powertrain core team standards, resolving technical issues during assembly, piloting conformity review of vehicles leaving the plant, specifying, testing, validating propulsion systems components for assigned vehicle families, analyzing parts-related failures, proposing cost reductions, and processing documentation on changes or modifications to components from assigned vehicle families. the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering and 3 years or more of experience in the automotive industry as a product engineer or related role. key requirements - experience with design in electronic modules, battery packs, electrification components, internal combustion engine / electric motor / power electronics accessories components, and internal and surrounding components from internal combustion engine / electric motor / power electronics - solid knowledge of automotive vehicles and systems, assembly, manufacturing, part validations, and automotive systems - understanding of statistics; testing, validation, and failure analysis in automotive industry or similar - effective communication and presentation skills; experience with software tools (google suite, microsoft office, project, minitab) - design software sk...
