Geospatial data specialist we are seeking a highly skilled geospatial data specialist to join our team. in this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing geospatial applications and services using technologies such as geoserver, postgis, and google bigquery. you will work with satellite imagery, remote sensing data, and other geospatial datasets to deliver actionable agricultural insights. this involves implementing geospatial data processing workflows, including data ingestion, analysis, visualization, and reporting. collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with data scientists, agronomists, and software teams to integrate gis solutions into our products. your task also includes optimizing spatial database performance, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of geospatial data. requirements - at least 2 years of experience with geospatial databases (postgis) and gis software (geoserver,qgis, arcgis); - experience handling and analyzing satellite imagery and remote sensing data; - familiarity with geospatial data standards, formats (geojson, shapefiles, raster data formats), and coordinate reference systems; - strong skills in scripting and automation for geospatial data processing (python preferred); - understanding of cloud platforms (especially gcp and aws) for deploying scalable geospatial workflows; benefits - professional growth: accelerate your professional journey with mentorship, techtalks, and personalized growth roadmaps. - a selection of exciting projects: join projects with modern solutions developmen...
