Technical design specialist about the role we are seeking a skilled technical design specialist to join our team. as a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans that serve as the foundation for our construction projects. as a technical design specialist, your primary focus will be on transforming architectural and engineering concepts into accurate, detailed drawings that guide project teams through every phase of construction. your work will ensure that our designs are clearly communicated, compliant with regulations, and efficiently executed on site. your responsibilities - create detailed architectural and structural drawings for building construction projects - develop general arrangement (ga) drawings, foundation plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings - support the design team by translating conceptual sketches and technical data into accurate cad drawings - collaborate on the development of structural layouts, floor plans, and utility networks - update and revise designs based on feedback from engineers, architects, or site observations - e nsure all drawings comply with local building codes, design standards, and project specifications - maintain organized and version-controlled drawing files within the design department - coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical) to ensure design integration and conflict resolution requirements - familiarity with revit, civil 3d, or other bim software is advantageous - understanding of construction methods, site logistics, and temporary wo...
