Are you a seasoned construction professional with a proven track record in delivering high-value projects? this role is based on-site in the uae and will require relocation. a leading gcc construction company seeks a talented draughtsman to create technical drawings and plans for our construction projects. the ideal candidate will transform architectural and engineering concepts into accurate, detailed drawings that guide project teams through every phase of construction. - key responsibilities: - create detailed architectural and structural drawings for building construction projects. - develop general arrangement (ga) drawings, foundation plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings. - support the design team by translating conceptual sketches and technical data into accurate cad drawings. - collaborate on the development of structural layouts, floor plans, and utility networks. - update and revise designs based on feedback from engineers, architects, or site observations. - ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, design standards, and project specifications. - maintain organized and version-controlled drawing files within the design department. - coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical) to ensure design integration and conflict resolution. requirements: - familiarity with revit, civil 3d, or other bim software is advantageous. - understanding of construction methods, site logistics, and temporary works. - experience with local authority drawing submissions and approval processes. - bachelor's in civil engineering / drafting techn...
