Overview we are seeking a senior software engineer to play a crucial role in building the minka platform. this internal position within our engine team involves close collaboration with the cto, technical product managers, engineering managers, and other engineers. responsibilities be an owner: adhere to team software development methodologies. conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. continuously improve and stay informed about the internet, bitcoin, and finance. contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. maintain a positive and motivated attitude, with a focus on teamwork. be a solver: assist team members in improving their skills and methods. evaluate end-to-end designs for strengths and weaknesses (complexity, scalability, performance, security, etc.). maintain a proactive attitude and voice suggestions when necessary. recommend enhancements to technical solutions. take responsibility for your resources, suggest, interview, and hire team members. write it down: design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. independently write code for medium to large features. participate in design sprints to develop product designs and prototypes. share knowledge about implemented components with level 3 support teams. required skills understanding of bits and bitcoin. over 7 years of experience in software development, preferably with backend technologies like nodejs or typescript. passion for technology and improving financial services. experience mentoring junior developers on design patterns, development best pract...
