About the role The Copy Manager is a strategic and detail-oriented leader who will spearhead the development of compelling, consistent, and on-brand copy across all channels. This role will manage a team of copywriters and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners in marketing, creative, operations, and legal to ensure that every word we use reflects our voice and engages our audience. The job is equal parts creative storyteller and editorial perfectionist—someone who can inspire a team, manage deadlines, and bring big ideas to life through smart, engaging language. Responsible for maintaining brand voice, scaling editorial processes, and ensuring clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness in all written communications. What you'll do Manage a team of copywriters, providing clear direction, feedback, and mentorship. Oversee the development of copy for a wide range of deliverables and channels, including TV campaigns, digital ads, websites, email marketing, social media, service offering messaging, video scripts, and print materials. Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all content. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and brand strategists to bring integrated campaigns to life. Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines. Develop and maintain copy style guides, messaging frameworks, and content templates. Partner with legal, compliance, or regulatory teams (as applicable) to ensure all content meets required standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing copy across multiple languages, including collaboration with translation teams and ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging across global markets. Experience training AI tools to generate scripts tailored to a specific individual or talent—fine-tuning voice, tone, and style to match their unique persona, delivery, and audience engagement style. Partner with the Marketing Operations team to efficiently manage team capacity. Manage freelance resources and vendor/agency relationships effectively. Champion new processes and ways of working within the creative team. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience required Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Bachelor’s degree in multimedia production, design, communications, digital media, or related field preferred 5-7 years of copywriting and/or editorial experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills to not only manage the team but also key stakeholders within the Marketing team and broader organization Strong, portfolio showcasing a range of projects across various media channels, as well as ability to establish and manage copy systems, establishing copy templates and efficiencies for scalability Deep understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and user-centered messaging. Ability to lead and inspire a team while also rolling up your sleeves and writing when needed Experience with content management systems (CMS) and workflow tools is a plus Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate new ideas and technologies Work closely with stakeholders across the company to deliver a cohesive and compelling brand message and understand the needs and challenges of different departments and tailor copy strategies accordingly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with various stakeholders and external partners Schedule Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Eastern Time The pay range for this role is: 13 - 15 USD per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
