Cultural Curator Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cultural Curator to join our Editorial Team based in Bogotá. In this role, you will be part of the Music team in Colombia and the Latin America region. Key Responsibilities: - Identify music trends, stories, and opportunities for Spotify. - Create and amplify relevant music stories for consumer-facing channels. - Work cross-functionally with other teams to fulfill company strategic goals and projects. - Support local and regional Editorial teams with on-platform music programming. - Analyze trends, data, and analytics to understand consumer behaviors. - Collaborate with global and international editorial teams on various projects and programming initiatives. - Ambassador within the company for artists from Colombia and the region, helping them grow their fanbase through internal workflows. - Integrate human music expertise and cultural insights into product development and features. Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in music storytelling, whether through work in digital media or the music industry. - Deep understanding of the Colombian and Latin music landscapes. - Able to identify emerging music trends. - Well-versed in effective digital storytelling formats for social platforms. - Numerate and adept at analyzing and interpreting data. - Strong attention to details and organization. - Great teammate, adaptable, and positive attitude. About This Role This is an exciting opportunity to shape the musical narrative in Colombia and the Latin America region. You will work closely with Marketing and PR teams to build and amplify culturally relevant music stories. Location You will be based out of our Bogotá office, but we offer flexibility to work where you best work, with some in-person meetings required.
