Check out our TNC Talent playlist on YouTube on Glassdoor. **YOUR POSITION WITH TNC**: The Sustainable Productive Systems Leader works in close collaboration with other conservation leaders and their teams designing and implementing projects, programs and initiatives, taking into consideration the priorities of the Colombian Program and special focus on collaboration among teams. In coordination with the Conservation Director and support from areas such as Policy, Development and Science, positions TNC as the main conservation partner in the areas of implementation of Sustainable Productive Systems in Colombia. Works closely with the Conservation Director to define conservation priorities and long-term conservation outcomes aligned to Colombia’s strategic framework decided by Colombia’s Executive Team. Builds strategic scientific and technical capacities and develops relationships with key public and private entities to identify and solve technical problems and widely communicate solutions and best practices. Serves as the principle contact to government agencies, other conservation organizations, foundations and the academic community related to Sustainable Productive Systems - SPS. The SPS Leader develops innovative scientific methods, analyzes, tools and methodological frameworks to solve the problems and needs for promoting the implementation of SPS at different scales, projects and initiatives, promotes the commitment of local communities in supporting local conservation efforts, and supports the negotiation of complex and innovative solutions with the government agencies, private companies or associations, to conserve and protect nature and natural capital. The SPS Leader build synergies and supports other Conservation Programs, including SPS knowledge and practices in different projects and fostering to their team to work jointly in other Conservation Programs. Works closely to Science team and Conservation Director to plan, execute and monitor the projects related to Sustainable Productive Systems including technical, administrative and financial issues, as well as the permanent monitoring of conservation outcomes and impacts through the HUB of the Shared Conservation Agenda. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE**: **Strategical and technical leadership** - Leads Sustainable Productive Systems Program and its projects. - Support the Conservation Director on the annual planning of SPS Conservation Program priorities and Project Management decisions - Work in close collaboration with other leaders plans the resources (staff time, logistic) allocated to SPS projects, activities and tasks. If needed, due to disagreement or priorization review Cons. Director should be involved. - Focal point to public and private institutions on Sustainable Productive Systems topics with support and guideline from Policy Team. - Focal point to TNC LAR and Global Strategies related to Sustainable Productive Systems group, Provide Food and Water Priority. It is focal point to the LAR Regenerative Ranching & Agriculture Strategy. - Build cooperation, alignment and provides technical support to other conservation areas/leaders and coordinate how his/her team provides supports to other teams in NASCA/LAR /Global - Provide technical support to other conservation areas/leaders and coordinate with other teams in NASCA/LAR /Global - In Coordination with his /her team members maintain the TNC’s Shared Conservation Agenda HUB up to date. **Financial Sustainability** - Support the Development team and the Financial Sustainability coordination in the preparation of new proposals to ensure the financial sustainability of the Conservation Program. - With the support of the Project Analyst and the team monitors costs and administering budgets of the SPS projects/initiatives. - Establish coordination and monitoring mechanisms with the Financial Sustainability Coordinator for the proper development and execution of their projects. - Seek fundraising opportunities in the public and private sector in coordination with the Financial Sustainability Coordinator and Development team - Develop in coordination with the Financial Sustainability Coordinator innovative design for included conservation finance tools in his/her program. **Management** - Suggest to the Conservation Director the management, result
